In April, China’s steel exports were 7.973 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 26.2%.

Data from the General Administration of Customs on May 7 showed that in April, my country exported 7.973 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 26.2%; from January to April, China exported 25.5654 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 24.5%.

In April, China imported 1.174 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 16.2%; from January to April this year, China imported 4.891 million tons of steel, a year-on-year increase of 16.9%.

In April, China imported 98.566 million tons of iron ore and concentrate, a year-on-year increase of 3.0%; from January to April, China imported 381.975 million tons of iron ore and concentrate, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%.
